The Arc Big Bend will host another fun-filled summer of FREE camp for Madison, Taylor, and Jefferson Counties with a separate event for Leon County.

How it works:

  • Be sure your student is eligible

    • Aged 14-21 during camp

    • Has an IEP or 504 with their school

    • Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) participant

    • Enrolled in school

    • Returning to school the following Fall

  • Fill out and return the Camp Achieve Interest Form

  • Finish registering for the camp and provide us with the necessary information

  • Send your student to camp…FOR FREE!

What’s included:

  • Socializing and life skills: This 40-hour camp uses fun and recreation to help teens and young adults learn social skills, self-advocacy, and the life skills they need to help them be more independent, self-sufficient adults.

  • Career prep: Learn how to dress for the interview and the job, how to create a resume, how to respond to interview questions, how to handle conflict at work, and how to become the type of employee that businesses want to hire!

  • Career building: Explore career interests, learn personal strengths and weaknesses, discover educational paths, find educational funding, and create a career plan with clear, achievable goals.
